News and Information
- City boundary legislation passed in the Senate (SB 2188)
- Mile markers, state/federal roads, and county roads will be updated. DOT is using Esri Roads and Highways
ND GIS Users Conference
- Website is close to being released
- Full GISTC is during the conference
- Keynotes are all set, including closing keynote by Dr. Kerski
- Sponsors need to sign up early to be sure they get an exhibit space
Hub Data Portal
- Almost ready to go
- The data downloader tool has also been upgraded (using Web Application Builder) so now the entire site can work on a phone or tablet as well as desktop
- Brief review of the Creative Commons Attribution license - something we are using on the new Hub Data Portal and something agencies may want to utilize
- Will release this in a transitional manner and eventually shut down the old Hub Data Portal
Updated Hub Explorer
- This has been updated to be responsive design (also Web Application Builder)
- Still be reviewed before releasing, which will be done over time
GISTC Membership
- Discussion on making sure people know that they can attend the GISTC meetings
- These are open meetings
- Historically non-GISTC people have attended
- If a particular topic is wished to be brought up by non-GISTC, then let us know beforehand to get it on the agenda
- We will send out a reminder to the listserv to remind people that they are welcome to attend
