Meeting Recap

• 2017 cached service is being built - this is the "single-year" service that is in addition to the existing Basemap_Imagery service
• Planning to build an Environment feature dataset to organize derived and other data managed by the Dept. of Health
• Esri has approached us with the idea of having a mobile GIS workshop. This will be announced via the listserv once we find a location and date.
• The GISTC continues to evaluate statewide imagery options should the NAIP program as we know it ends. This is most important should a budget request be needed.
• Datum/coordinate system - this info is still under development and will be posted on the GIS website when completed
• More effort needs to be taken to get the word out about the GIS Program at the state, especially with changes in agency leadership.
