    • Geospatial Summit scheduled for September 25-26, 2024 in Bismarck at the Event Center
  • MAGIC Clearinghouse Summit Highlights
    • A number of states are using the Esri EA for licensing, SD recently went with a 5-year EA 
    • More cloud-centric.  Range in storage rates at the states resulting in moving to the cloud saving money and in other cases no savings
    • USGS is making heavy use of AWS along with interesting technologies such as Virtual Rasters and Spatio-Temporal Catalog
    • AZ has a lot of things going on, heave use of ArcGIS Online and in particular, collaboration with a focus on metadata
    • Heard about Overture Maps Foundation and Ecopia
    • MAGIC Symposium will be in Omaha, April 2024
  • Tribal Connections
    • Planning to carve up some time at a future, hopefully December, SGC to engage with some key contacts
    • Conversations will include authoritative data sources for roads, parcels, reservation boundaries, tribal lands
    • Discussion on Sisseton being tribal lands or a reservation, and discussion on the Trenton Indian Service Area
  • Storage Discussion
    • The Department of Water Resources is looking at increased storage rates as part of their migration to hosting of storage and servers to Information Technology.  Discussions are on-going between DWR and NDIT
    • We may be able to leverage this work as part of our geospatial future state
  • Geospatial Special Interest Groups
    • Tabled
  • Roundtable/Open Forum
    • Game and Fish has put the brakes on possible change management detection
    • Water Resources reported that 6" statewide imagery will likely show up in February or March, 2024 and the NAIP county mosaics as early as November
