  • Planning a meeting with BIA and USGS folks during next month's meeting
• 2024 Meeting Schedule
  • Meeting schedule is set, we will switch NDIT with NDDOT for this year and the following to better accommodate NDDOT room needs
• Geospatial Roadmap (RFI & Future State) 
  • Reflects the need to evaluate currrent state and craft a vision for the future state, much like what was done when the GIS Hub was first being implemented
  • "Geospatial Roadmap" RFI previously reviewed has been sent out with responses due in January.  The cost estimates from the responses will be used to assist in the 25-27 budget request.  Should this budget request be approved, and RFP will be developed to bring in someone to help craft our strategic vision during 25-27.
  • Geospatial Future State draft document was reviewed.  This document will be reviewed by NDIT executive leadership and their comments will be reviewed by the SGC.  Purpose of this is to help gather our thoughts on the geospatial strategy vision, which can also be used with the strategic vision work that will be done, budget allowing.
  • Committee reviewed the Geospatial Technology Competency Model in the context of workforce needs and hiring practices, institutional body of knowledge
• Roundtable/Open Forum
  • DOT Users Group meeting will be tomorrow with focus on Roads and Highways, ArcPro
  • Elaine noted that the USGS is working towards moving the Department of Water Resources lidar projects into the USGS lidar spec
