  • Chief Data Officer Ravi Krishnan is departing end of September
  • 2023 NSGIC GMA overall score unchanged; leaf-off score pulls down the overall score, perhaps we should opt out of that
  • Reminder on training, we can do instructor-led as a group if we have enough interest
• Geospatial Program Report
  • Annual report will be similar to the 2022 version
  • Agencies requested to provide updated content and ideas
• Data Retirement Policy
  • This relates to the Strategic Plan framework dataset discussion
  • If developed, this will be added to the GIS Hub datasets where applicable
  • Storage/access could be associated with online, nearline, offline, archived
  • Discussion turned into on focused on storage:
    • Storage costs can impact what can be stored
    • Cloud may or may not play a role
    • Next steps include establishing a sub-committee to document requirements
• Tribal Connections
  • The SGC discussed setting up a discussion with interested parties with topics including data, relationships, BIA geospatial, possible partnerships
• Geospatial Special Interest Group
  • The SGC supports the idea of having agencies present some of their geospatial work at upcoming state meetings and conferences, e.g., NDAAO, ND911, etc.

• Roundtable/Open Forum
  • Game and Fish is doing a proof of concept with AgroGraph using district data
  • Dave H. of Fugro described the status of elevation and imagery collection
    • 75% of the 6-inch imagery has been collected
    • Statewide QL2 lidar elevation will be going into 3DEP; 20 metro areas will have QL1
  • Elaine G. of the U.S.G.S. reminded us that the 3DNTM Data Collaboration Announcement (DCA) which is the successor to the Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) and will be coming out this month.
  • BSC is starting a small UAS program, including three two-credit classes
  • Remote ID deadline for drones is coming up
