The GIS Hub Explorer will soon be replaced by a new version that has a new look along with similar and new functionality.  Behind the scenes, the software used by the current (old) GIS Hub Explorer is becoming more difficult to maintain and is being phased out by the vendor, Esri.  The updated (new) GIS Hub Explorer uses the latest off-the-shelf technology from Esri including the use of the Esri-managed data and application hosting environment. Using off-the-shelf technology has the benefits of greatly reduced development and maintenance to be done by the State, though the downside can be waiting on Esri to fix and enhance the software.

Please update your bookmark to point to the new GIS Hub Explorer.  We plan to remove the "Old Hub Explorer" button/tile from the gis.nd.gov website the week of August 4 and then shut down the old GIS Hub Explorer at the end of August.
