Full GIS Technical Committee

The North Dakota Full GIS Technical Committee (FGISTC) represents an opportunity for GIS professionals in local, state, federal, and tribal government and in the North Dakota business community to come together to share ideas, data, and concerns.

The North Dakota GIS Technical Committee (GISTC) was established in 1995 by Executive Order 1995-05, and re-affirmed by Executive Order 2001-06 (89kb pdf). As per the executive orders, membership of the FGISTC is composed of state agencies not already a member of the GISTC, local federal agencies, and members of the business community.

The FGISTC meets every other year in association with the ND GIS Conference, providing an environment for all interested GIS professionals to meet with one another and exchange ideas, data, and concerns. During the off years, the GISTC produces a report of state activities to the Governor's Office. Monthly GISTC meetings are open, please contact us if you are interested in attending so that we can provide you the details of the meeting.
