  • MAGIC Clearinghouse Summit highlights including states moving to Azure and states' parcel data update frequency
  • GIS-Azure kick-off meeting planned for August 15 - to set the stage for completing a proof of concept in early September
  • NSGIC Annual Conference in Duluth during the first of October
• GIS Program Report
  • Draft report reviewed
  • Suggested changes include quantifying data work effort: number of layers, number of features, number of staff
  • Add Census and NAIP information and how the GIS Program applies
• Governor's Office Meeting
  • Brief review of GIS Program history and activities with the Governor's Office
  • Future meeting is planned contigent with the release of the GIS Program Report
• Coordinate System
  • Existing coordinate system language in the Century Code was reviewed
  • That language can be cleaned up and made more clear
  • Interim text will be placed onto the GIS website
• LiDAR
  • Update is planned for the Red River LiDAR to bring it up to QL2

  • How can the GISTC members be more easily contacted?
  • Names of individuals can be placed on the GISTC agency list but that could become a maintenance issue
  • a "Contact Us" link was added to the GISTC agency list; people can use that to ask to contact someone
• Imagery
  • Reviewed a draft resolution of support for the continuatin of the DES Google Imagery program
• Parcels
  • Planning to submit a budget request for statewide parcels
